Whoa what a month, a whole lot went on during September. A birthday for Matt followed by some surgery (the two events are not related as far as we know), weddings & zombies. If you are squimish perhaps skip this post :)

Allison & Tony got married & we were the lucky ones who got to photograph their day & then booth their night away at the Hervey Bay Boat Club.

Following Allison & Tony's wedding on the Friday, we got to booth Lisa & Mark's Wedding on the Saturday at the Kondari Resort.

The suday saw the start of our Zombie Photoshoots for Halloween. Cheye had so much fun she came along to our 2nd zombie shoot aswell Or maybe she got addicted to the taste of our blood. I'm not sure if we scared anyone, but whoever walked by kept their distance. Here are some behind the scenes shots & final images.

 

 

Getiing away from zombies & back to weddings, we got to photobooth Yvonne & Justin's wedding at the Bayswater. These guys were alot of fun & the first Bride we have come across that wore Doc Martins as her wedding shoes since Melanie at our wedding.

Then back to Zombies. Cheye came along for round 2 & was joined by Chloe. We had so much fun on this shoot. We actually had some folks freak out & run & other not sure if they should run or not. The girls just wanted to chase them the whole time. Some more behind the scenes & finals for you. (PS I think Chloe is also addicted to our blood now)

Although August was a little quiet at Smile Pretty HQ, we could still be found out & about. Like at the Chanel 7 fraser Coast Bridal Expo held at the Hervey Bay PCYC. Usually held in June, this years expo had been postponed due to flood damage. It was a great day, we got quite a few photobooth bookings for 2012 & even a couple of Boudoir bookings & we had fun catching up with alot of our friends in the wedding industry.

 

We also got to photobooth the wedding of Carla & Lars Olsen.

 

 

Closing out August we met the lovley Ash who is on her way to becoming a mummy & asked us to photograph her growing baby bump

Thats all for August but a eye out for what we get up to in September. The Zombies are coming.

The start of July had us Photograph & booth the wedding of Jenna & Phil. They were married on the 2nd at the Sirromet Winery in Mt Cotton. Such a beatiful location that perfectly reflected this lovely couple.

 

Next up we had the privledge of photographing the wedding of some very close & dear friends, Jodie & Brian. Not someone who subsribes to the norm, Jodie opted for a gangster themed wedding complete with violin cases & tommy guns at the Redland Bay Golf Club.

 

Rounding out July was the wedding of Sarah & Kurt at the Waterfront Restaurant in Hervey Bay.

June '11

Our first blog so I guess we start with what we got up to in June. The 1st weekend of June saw us boothing Amanda & Michael's wedding. Wow is all we can say on their reception, it was beautiful. A giant marque on a Toogoom property with 2 metre high letters LOVE outside. Very hollywoodish. All in all everyone seemed to be having a wonderful night & the photobooth got a good work out, 116 strips = 464 photos :)

The 2nd weekend we had our Boudoir Marathon. Ashlea & her assistant Jess provided the hair styles for the ladies who came along & Tegan from the Dollhouse Studios worked her makeup magic. We love the work you guys did & look forward to working with you again at our next boudoir marathon

The first our our brave ladies to get down to their underwear was Belinda

then Chloe

& finishing off with Sharleen

We all had a lot of fun (after the nerves settled lol) as we always do on our shoots. Keep a look out for our next Boudoir Marathon or drop us a line to book in :)

We then had the wedding of Heidi & James. A lovely couple that we have known for quite some time now & we felt honoured to be a part of their special day :)

To finish up June, we got to photograph the naming ceremony of the gorgeous Laila who, was more interested in eating the celebrant Cheryl Kidd's microphone than having her photo taken.
